Here is the daytime edition of my trip to Las Vegas celebrating our good friend’s 25th birthday last month! I actually was really sick during that weekend, but no cold is going to stop me from doing Vegas the right way! It was a freakishly cold weekend and my friends driving in actually drove through snow on the way to Vegas from LA and all the flights in and out of Vegas were grounded until the crazy rain and winds calmed down. I was coming down with a cold that Friday morning, and I’m certain that being in and out of the airport for 5 hours during the rain made it a billion times worse.

Our daytime activities were easygoing and mellow and mostly included exploring the strip, eating and shopping. The BF and I decided we wanted to do a lot of the little touristy attractions this trip. We went to the top of the Eiffel Tower, checked out the exotic car showroom in Palazzo, took in a show and watched the Bellagio water show, Mirage fire show and Treasure Island pirate show. I was giddy when we stumbled upon both of the shoe sculptures in Cosmopolitan by artist Roark Gourley. Come on, they’re 9 feet tall Louboutins!

Stay tuned for my next post, the nighttime edition of my trip!
