pugs not drugs!

Earlier this week, I posted a review for CrazyDogTShirts and now I’m going to share with you all a shirt from their sister store, NachoMamaTees!  They are an online retail store that offers novelty designs and funny tees for men, women and kids.  They share a lot of the same options as CrazyDogTShirts, and offer categories like Funny, Zombie, Vintage and Movie tees.  Last time I chose an edgier T Shirt, so I figured I would pick out something that they specialize in - one of their Funny Shirts! 

Ok, I’ll admit that my guilty pleasure is watching Jersey Shore.  They’re just so over the top and ridiculous, and I can live vicariously through their drunken shenanigans.  I remember giggling when I saw Vinny wearing an adorable “Pugs Not Drugs” T Shirt in Italy.  Who doesn’t love pugs and novelty shirts?  It’s pretty much a guaranteed winning combination.  As I was perusing NachoMamaTees’ huge selection of funny tees, I saw that they had their own versions of this famous “Pugs Not Drugs” shirt, it was a no brainer!  Yay, Vinny and I are twinsies :]

They had a couple options for the “Pugs Not Drugs” T Shirt in the Funny Shirts section, and I chose the one on the left with the white distressed graphic on a navy tee.  I liked the navy and white combination and the pug’s facial expression a little bit more.  There was a mix up with the order and NachoMamaTees ended up sending me a different version, the one on the right in color.  They were very apologetic.  If I was a regular customer instead of a blogger and product reviewer, I believe they would have gone through further lengths to correct the mix up.  

I didn’t press the issue because the shirts are pretty similar and it wasn’t a big deal to me.  They offered both men’s and women’s fit for this shirt, but I chose a unisex men’s size small to leave the option for slouchiness open.  Also, I think the bf’s inner guido loves Vinny and wants this shirt so we can share it :)  The fabric of this shirt was a little stiff, but it softened up a bit after a few wears and a laundry cycle.  The graphic was a little bit plasticky feeling, but most graphic tees are like that.  If you’re a stickler on texture and soft clothing, you might want to look for shirts with smaller graphics.

I’m pretty happy with my “Pugs Not Drugs” T shirt from NachoMamaTees.  Despite the mix up, their customer service was accommodating and gracious.  The quality and prices for shirts from both sister stores, CrazyDogTShirts.com and NachoMamaTees.com, are similar and most of their products are around $15.  They have a lot of discounted shirts and promos.  You can read my review on CrazyDogTShirts here and find their current promos.  If you support the pugs not drugs initiative, check out NachoMamaTees!
