I apologize for the serious lag on personal style posts. I’ve been feeling a little uninspired fashion-wise since 2012 began and dealing with other personal priorities.
Here’s a post on my way to Thanksgiving family dinner. I know, I know, but better late than never right? I wanted to be feminine but warm and cozy and so I paired this adorable pale pink, swallow print dress with thick knit tights and layered under a lace cardigan and wool coat.
It was a rare family get together and as we’re getting older, our family seems to get together fewer and farther apart. Family is important and sometimes it takes the worst circumstances to remember and appreciate it. I’m a little conflicted between two schools of thought: the obligations of family ties and that family love has to be earned. Life and love and family is complicated =/ Try to find some happiness if and where you can.
